FLAWLESS SKIN: PART 1
QUESTION: How do I achieve flawless skin without using heavy looking foundation?

Know your skin type!
The “dewy, luminous and glowing skin” look is much harder to achieve if you have large pores and a tendency to break out. So, knowing your skin type will help in identifying the best formula of foundation to look for.

NORMAL to DRY skin benefits from foundation with MORE MOISTURE and LUMINOUS qualities.

LARGE PORE/OILY/TENDENCY TO BREAK OUT skin benefits from a more matte finish.

Liz's Top Picks for Foundation:

CHANTECAILLE: REAL SKIN (a step above no make up, ultra sheer, minimal coverage)

CHANTECAILLE: FUTURE SKIN (medium coverage, dewy soft finish)

MAC FACE AND BODY MAKE UP (very sheer coverage, dewy soft finish)

PRESCRIPTIVES: VIRTUAL SKIN (medium coverage, natural but matter finish, good for visible pores and oilier skin)

Liz's Tips for Picking the Right Color/Formula/Level of Coverage:

ASK QUESTIONS: Ask about level coverage (sheer, very sheer, medium, etc...)

TRY ON YOUR FACE: Not on your hand, but where you will actually be wearing it. Put a finger print on your cheek toward your jaw to test the color. DON’T rub, but pat it on and lightly blend leaving it visible. Take a hand mirror, go OUTSIDE (meaning leave the store) and see how the color looks in daylight.

Foundation is the most important part of your make up so, you want to spend time choosing the right one!
