Fashion Week - Day 4

Jayne:
Peter Som's show started today with a beautiful foray into what looked like winter??? Although this wunderkind is the new head of women's designer for Bill Blass and a MAJOR talent, his spring 2008 collection looked oddly heavy with grays that conjured up a February day rather than May. The group of "reds" did brighten up the lot a little but not enough to wow the crowd. Still, his clothes are beyond beautiful and constructed masterfully. He will undoubtedly knock our socks off in February when he unveils his first BB collection.

Michael Kors spring collection was a fantastic show stopper. I felt like I was at a Broadway play and should stand up to cheer Michael's walk of triumph after the show. Sophisticated glamour is always the world at MK and the array of sherbet colors in green, yellows, pinks and lavenders will definitely give me something to look forward to this spring! Big hats transported me to the terrace with a mint julep in my hand, chunky necklaces, heavy gold cuffs and fabulous gold wedged shoes were all the icing on the cake. One of the best so far.............****** gold stars for sure.
